A 2017 study at Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center found that yoga was as effective as standard physical therapy for treating moderate to severe chronic low back pain.

  • This session is specifically designed for clients wishing to improve posture and/or alleviate back pain. Each session includes gentle movement, breath practice, deep relaxation, and meditation. Lots of modifications are offered.

  • A short health history will be completed prior to beginning the program.

  • Participants receive a Healthy Back plan with simple, effective practices to do at home.

  • Absolutely no yoga experience is needed! Chairs and other materials provided.

  • This is NOT your typical yoga class!
